How much bandwidth is included in my plan?

Our web hosting plans come with no fixed limits on data transfer (bandwidth). Bandwidth is provided on an “unmetered” basis, which means you’re never charged based on how much you use—and there are no extra fees for higher traffic.

With unmetered data transfer included in your hosting account, you’re free to host personal projects, small business websites, or community platforms and grow naturally as your audience expands. We want you to have the flexibility and resources needed to build a strong online presence, and for 99% of our customers, the included disk space and bandwidth are more than sufficient.

That said, bandwidth—like any shared resource—is not unlimited. To ensure smooth and reliable performance for everyone, we monitor shared servers for unusually high usage or misuse. All customers are expected to follow our Terms of Service and use bandwidth as part of the normal operation of a personal or small business website. In rare cases where usage greatly exceeds typical levels, we may apply limitations to maintain overall service quality.

How do you define “normal” usage for web hosting plans?

We regularly analyze customer bandwidth usage using statistical methods to understand what qualifies as normal activity. While usage levels can vary from month to month, one thing remains consistent: around 99% of our customers fall within the normal range. Accounts that exceed this range are often used for file storage or file sharing rather than standard website hosting. Since shared hosting isn’t designed for these purposes, we offer alternative plans better suited for higher bandwidth needs.

Whenever possible, we aim to provide at least 72 hours’ notice so customers have time to make adjustments before any action is taken. Based on data collected from more than 10,000 accounts per hosting plan, the following reflects the average monthly bandwidth usage:

Any hosting account that consistently uses more than ten times the average monthly bandwidth for its plan is considered outside of normal shared hosting usage.
