These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between you ("User" or "Customer") and Vidohost. Each User is subject to these Terms, and by using Vidohost's web hosting, domain registration, or related services, the User agrees to be bound by the usage policies and other terms and conditions contained herein. These Terms supplement the individual service agreement of each User, if any.
The User represents and warrants that, if an individual, they are at least 18 years old. If representing an entity, the User warrants they have all legal authority to bind that corporation, LLC, or partnership to these Terms. The User agrees to provide complete, accurate, and current information to Vidohost in connection with all registration and billing processes. Subscribing parents and legal guardians assume full responsibility and liability associated with a minor's use of any of our Services.
Vidohost reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove all or any part of these Terms at any time. Users may view the most current version of these Terms at any time on our website.
Term of Service. The term of the User's subscription to the Services commences upon the User's acceptance of these Terms and successful payment, and terminates as set forth in the billing cycle chosen during signup.
Payment & Renewals. The User agrees to pay all fees for purchasing and renewing Vidohost Services. Unless automated billing is disabled, services will automatically renew at the end of their billing cycle. Failure to pay renewal fees may result in immediate suspension or termination of services and potential data loss.
Price Changes. Vidohost reserves the right to adjust prices for services. Any price changes will be communicated to the User clearly before their next billing or renewal cycle.
Same-Day Partial Refund Policy. Vidohost operates on a highly strict refund policy. To be eligible for a refund on hosting services, you must cancel your subscription and request the refund on the exact same day the purchase was made. If you successfully cancel on the day of purchase, you will receive a 50% (half) refund of the total amount paid.
No Refunds After Day One. If your subscription extends by even one day (i.e., you request a cancellation or refund the day after your purchase or at any time thereafter), absolutely no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. By completing your purchase, you explicitly agree to this strict timeframe.
Non-Refundable Services. Please note that domain name registrations, domain transfers, SSL certificates, dedicated servers, and any paid software licenses or custom migration fees are entirely non-refundable from the exact moment of purchase. Once a domain is registered, it belongs to you for the duration of the registration period.
Account Security. The User is strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, passwords, and billing information. Vidohost is not liable for any account breaches resulting from weak passwords or compromised User devices.
Backups. While Vidohost performs routine automated backups on select plans, we do not guarantee data retention. The User agrees to maintain their own off-site backups of all website files, databases, and emails. Vidohost is not liable for data loss under any circumstances.
Users must utilize Vidohost services for lawful purposes only. The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension or termination without a refund:
ICANN & Registry Rules. All domain name registrations are subject to upstream registry policies and global ICANN regulations. Vidohost acts as an intermediary registrar on behalf of the customer.
Suspensions. Vidohost is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any sudden suspension, hold, or termination of a domain name initiated by the upstream registry, regulatory bodies, or due to compliance violations outside of our direct control.
Limitation of Liability. Under no circumstances shall Vidohost be held liable for damages, including lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the inability to use our services.
Support. Vidohost provides technical support via ticketing system and live chat. Abusive language or threats directed at our staff may result in immediate suspension of support privileges or account termination.
